Begin with a tour of Miri, including the temples and markets. Travel to Niah National Park, where remains of human life from over 40,000 years ago have been found. Explore the Great Cave, with its ancient paintings. Travel to Lambir National Park. En route, you will visit an Iban longhouse, before reaching Lambir's tumultuous waterfalls and lush forests. Spend the day walking the forest trails. Fly to Mulu, and visit the National Park's famous limestone caves - among the world's largest. Sarawak's largest conservation area is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful, biologically diverse areas in the world. Explorers and scientists have been drawn to the Mulu region since the 1930's. Over 3,500 plant species and 20,000 animal species are indigenous to this region. Hike on to Kuala Terikan, and spend a night in an Iban longhouse. Spend your final night in Miri.
