After picking you up from your hotel in Bangkok, we’ll head south, leaving the busy city behind for the peaceful countryside. We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant before starting our first bike ride from a nearby temple. We’ll pedal gently through palm groves and villages, then visit the Monsoon Valley Vineyard for a tasting of their fruity wine. Afterward, we’ll transfer to our accommodation on Hua Hin Beach, a town known for its royal connections and beautiful beach

We start our journey early in the morning, riding south along the coast. The route is popular with cyclists and has easy hills and smooth paths. We pass farms and beaches with coconut trees for shade.

We stop in Pranburi and then head to Sam Roi Yot National Park. There, we hike through forests to a stunning cave, and if the weather’s good, we take a short boat ride. Inside the cave, there’s a shrine and beautiful light, perfect for photos.

After lunch on the beach, we drive for 2 hours to Bankrut. Your hotel is by the beach, so you can swim in the pool or in the Gulf of Thailand!

Leaving your hotel in Ban Krut, we continue our journey to the next one. Today’s ride is easy, following the coast and then quiet flat roads inland. Along the way, we’ll pass Had Pha Daeng, where you can snap some photos of the Red Cliffs.

Our ride concludes at a stunning secluded resort with its own private beach. You can unwind with a cocktail by the pool overlooking the ocean or take a leisurely walk along the beach. This resort will be our home for the next two nights, so no need to pack up tomorrow morning!

Today, take a break from biking and enjoy some relaxation! Our resort is right by the tranquil Gulf of Thailand, with a sandy beach just steps from your room. You can walk along the beach or chill by the pool with a drink. If you’re hungry, just let your guide know!

If the weather’s good, we might go to Koh Talu island, a short boat ride away. It’s full of nature both on land and underwater, so you can see colorful fish if you go snorkeling. You can also try kayaking or paddleboarding. If you’re interested, ask about other activities too!

This morning, we start our ride from the hotel, enjoying beautiful ocean views along the shoreline. As we pedal, the scenery changes, taking us through lush rubber plantations. We’ll stop to see how rubber is harvested and dried.

After lunch, we’ll transfer for about an hour to our wellness resort. Here, you can relax with spa treatments, join yoga classes, or try Thai Hermit Dutton Exercises! Dinner is on your own tonight, with plenty of delicious southern Thai specialties to choose from.

After a 2-hour van ride, we start biking near Surat Thani, a big town in Southern Thailand. We’ll pedal along a nice road, passing villages and temples by the Phum Duang and Phrasaeng rivers. Our route leads us to Rachaprapa Dam, the region’s biggest dam within Khao Sok National Park.

We’ll stop for lunch by the lake and take photos. Then, after a 1-hour van ride, we’ll reach cozy bungalows on the edge of Khao Sok. These bungalows are nestled in the jungle, offering a peaceful stay surrounded by nature’s sounds.

  • 7

Today, we’re putting aside the bikes and grabbing paddles for a canoe trip on the river. Surrounded by lush forests, we’ll paddle past tall limestone rocks. You might even spot some wildlife while taking a dip!

After our morning adventure, you’ll have the afternoon free. You can relax with a book on your bungalow balcony or by the pool. If you’re up for more fun, the lodge offers activities like cooking classes, jungle treks, bamboo rafting, and even a night safari!

  • 8

Today’s the big finish! We’ll enjoy a satisfying bike ride through different landscapes. We start in hilly farmland, then head towards the coast, passing beautiful Natai Beach and crossing over to Phang Nga Bay. After a scenic ride, we reach a quiet fishing village, ending our bike journey.

From there, we hop on a speedboat to Phuket, where a van will take us to the airport or your hotel in Phuket city. That’s the end of the tour!

Our 2-week trip to Thailand was fantastic! Chiang Mai felt completely magical and Koh Samui was beautiful. We managed to have fun even on the rainy days. Our guides were perfect, very knowledgeable and a lot of fun, with great insights into the local culture. I've been recommending Absolute Asia Tours to all my friends and I can't wait to travel with you guys again! The coordination of everything was very well done.

Our recent trip to China and Mongolia was a great success. Overall we found Absolute Asia Tours services to be excellent throughout the two weeks we were in Asia. For us, Mongolia was definitely the highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed or local guides and drives and they were unfailingly knowledgeable, helpful and amusing. Their languages skills were excellent and we felt that we recieved real insight into this fascinating country. We were intinially drawn to the idea of this trip by the reports of the world class fihing and we were absolutely not disappointed. The fishing guide was first rate and we caught more fish than we could have hoped for - more than 25 each day - with the added bonus of being the only other people in sight for miles arround. AAT created a private ger camp for us on the Onon River and we enjoyed delicious food prepared by our chef in a beautiful unspoled atmosphere. They alo arranged for us to visit a nomadic family and spend time with them at home and organized a dinner with an anthropologist with expert knowledge of the region. AAT fullfilled their promise to tkae us to us to one of the world's best fishing destinations in comfort and style. We would be happy to travel with AAT again and will definitely recommend them to our friends.

We've had two "A+" experience with Absolute Asia Tours. It is a pleasure to work with an organization where I feel confident that what you say will happen, happens. This was true with our complicated China itinerary six years ago, and was true with our recent itinerary in Vietnam. your on the ground guides and logistics were top - notch, and I would recommend you to anyone to visit Asia.

Absolute Asia tours gave us a wonderful tour of Southeast Asia (working with sister-agency My Way Travel based in Vietnam). For our Siem Reap/Angkor Wat journey, our party of two had a private driver and guide named Jak, who was a cheerful and knowledgeable companion, explaining the history, culture, architecture and religious significance of the sites while keeping it always fun. We moved efficiently from site to site, and finished with a boat tour of the fishing village on stilts at Kampong Pluk on the Tonle Sap Lake. During most of our trip we stayed at top-notch locally-owned hotels, but in Siem Reap we were at the excellent local Hyatt hotel. Absolute Asia and My Way Travel our outstanding local providers, less expensive than name-brand group tours, and customized to our interests and schedule.

2 January 2024 ★★★★★

We had an awesome time on cycling tour with AAT! It was incredible, filled with good vibes, laughs & a fantastic way to explore Vietnam & Cambodia. Tony our guide made it special by introducing us to locals and showing us the real charm of these countries. The whole tour was well-organized & the way they took care of us awesome. It's an unforgettable trip and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Southeast Asia.

My group of six completed a 30 day cycling tour in Asia with AAT. We traveled form Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Saigon to Siem Reap. Every day we pedaled through stunning countryside views, passing villages, fields & limestone karsts. Our guide Tony was fantastic-interesting, friendly & personable. This experience stood out as the highlight of our Asia trip.
