Experience overview
Our two week Burmese Looking Glass program combines the country's full range of historical and natural attractions: From Yangon, fly to Bagan for three days of touring. After touring Bagan, fly to Mandalay for touring of the city, the nearby towns of Amarapura & Sagaing, and the hill station resort of Pyin Oo Lwin, whose fresh cool atmosphere was much appreciated by the British. Botanical gardens here include roses, orchids, and a small stupa. Drive to Pindaya to visit the caves, then travel to Inle Lake for two nights. Fly to Yangon for a night, then drive to Bago. Continue on to the unforgettable pilgrimage site of Kyaiktiyo, where worshippers flock to the vast golden rock at sunrise and sunset. Return to Yangon for a final night.

Day 1: Bangkok to Yangon (Evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda);
Day 2: Fly to Bagan (Begin touring ruins);
Days 3 & 4: Bagan (Full day touring & visit to Mt. Popa);
Day 5: Fly to Mandalay for 3 nights. (Tour city, Sagaing, and Mandalay Hill);
Day 6: Tour ancient towns of Amarapura and Mingun;
Day 7: Day trip to Pyin Oo Lwin;
Day 8: Drive to Pindaya;
Day 9: Drive to Inle Lake;
Day 10: Touring Inle Lake;
Day 11: Drive to Heho, Fly to Yangon (PM touring);
Day 12: Drive to Bago (Tour the city);
Day 13: Drive to Kyaik Hto (Tour Pagoda on the Golden Rock);

Day 15: Fly to Bangkok.
